"Excellent location, very clean and just far enough out of Sorrento to be in a very peaceful location away from the busy Sorrento town. Sorrento is just a short 20min walk downhill, but the hotel does offer a free shuttle in the morning and evening to and from Sorrento. My only comment would be that there should be more shuttles in the evening, as some of the times are a bit spaced apart.

This was our first visit to Sorrento. The hotel was beautiful with a great full breakfast. Room was spacious, staff was friendly & the housekeepers sweet. We had dinner twice in the rooftop dinning room overlooking the bay. The sunset was amazing. The waitstaff friendly , the food five star. We also danced to the music which made it very romantic. Lovely place
Loved this place! It was in a perfect hilltop setting with the most beautiful panoramic views... the rooms are gorgeous and the entire staff goes out of their way to accommodate your every need!!!! Would definitely go back!!!!
I absolutely love this hotel. Have stayed there several times and wouldn’t think about staying anywhere else. The location is so convenient to the square and right in the middle of al the activity. The rooms are beautiful and breakfast is always delicious. Mario does a wonderful job making sure everyone has anything they want for breakfast.
We loved this hotel. The staff was amazing! A very service oriented hotel and very accommodating. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle service to Sorrento which makes it extremely easy to get around. The Conceige is very knowledgeable and has wonderful recommendations and advice for restaurants and things to do. If you can, don't miss their rooftop sunset event. The sunset is exceptional from there. A gem on the Amafi Coast.
Great location less than a block from the main plaza. Our room was right next to the elevator and we never heard a sound. Only a few blocks to the train station and bus stops. Many great restaurants nearby. Best breakfast buffet in our whole 26 days in Italy. Left a jacket and they had it sent to our next hotel on Capri for a minimal charge.
Absolutely gorgeous grounds. Large elegant lobby and dining rooms with views of Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. Our room was not in the main hotel and was too small and lacking amenities. Bathroom was ok. Maybe that's a problem if you book through Hotels.com where the worst rooms are set aside?
As many other reviewers mentioned, it's a great hotel for the money. The hotel is run by Antonio and Paulo (father and son) who speak very good English and are very helpful with recommendations.
Breakfast: a good choice of fruits, meat cuts, cheese, cereal, coffee, etc.

The Mirmare is a lovely hotel with a unique experience. Firstly, it's in Positano which is gorgeous and has fantastic food. We had called ahead because the town of Positano is a little confusing to get around. The Miramare had a porter flag us down when we got close. This place is amazing off the beaten path but there shuttle is so easy to use they have set time and only takes you to train station but it works perfectly the train station is in town.
