After the door there are 2 steps up to the accommodation level but no further door beyond these steps. During the night my wife woke up to go to the bathroom. As there was no lighting, and she was in an unfamiliar environment, she mistook the space above the steps to be the entrance to the bathroom. "We loved our stay at La Verrière. It’s tucked away in a secluded area with absolutely breathtaking views. It's an ideal spot to unwind and disconnect. Getting there takes some effort, but it’s well worth it. The property is truly exceptional, and the dinners were outstanding - beautifully prepared and full of local flavor."

"This is a fabulous place with lovely owners. It feels like a quiet oasis. We were there during a heatwave (40 degrees) but inside the rooms felt beautifully cool. We stayed in the museum room which was large, the bed was big and super comfortable. There’s a bath in the room (something my husband really wanted) and I made the assumption that there would be a walk in shower. But there isn’t, instead it’s a hand held shower in the bath so you can feel quite on display showering in the room and I...

"Hotel is located in mystical village Mazan. It's a chateau with history. Building itself gives quite peace and relaxation. Hotel has a swimming pool and lovely garden area. It may need some renovations as shutters carpets are getting older and older in each our visit. It is also worth mentioning that hotel serves excellent breakfast."
