Hotels near Christ Church Shimla

"We have booked a family room. Room is big enough & spacious, clean with a balcony. Staffs are very polite & gentle, they are always ready to help. Food is excellent & taste or quality of food is great. The hotel is situated in a convenient area of Shimla. Overall a great experience to stay at The Orchid."

"Beautiful property and mindblowing food"

"The staff is extremely polite and kind. You will never regret choosing Kapil hotel for your future stays. The rooms are properly maintained and hygiene is the top priority. The services were amazing and you will never get a chance to point out any flaw because the property, the location and most important the human resource is extremely wonderful."

"My grandfather used to have a house with Shimla so I am very familiar with the place for the last 50+ years. Willow Banks is absolutely the best value for money you can find in the city. Very clean, very well located right next to the iconic mall road, right next to the tourist lift and very good service and clean and large rooms. Also excellent food options either within the hotel or right next door. Perfect place to stay and enjoy Shimla."

"Clean rooms and very helpful staff. Breakfast buffet had a very good selection. Dinner menu was very good. I would recommend this hotel."

"Great rooms, very comfortable and immaculately clean as was the entire property. Staff super helpful and the room service meals were top quality. Close to many shops, cafes and the The Mall Road. A great stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you."

"I can recommend this one. Best food and service. Little away from city but you can feel the peace and beauty "

"I felt the staff were friendly and the property was really nice and comfortable. The only thing I felt a little problematic was the location . Its really difficult to get Ola or Uber during rush hours. Rest everything was upto the mark."

"Staff is very friendly."

"Wonderful place, nice staff, excellent view"

"Average hotel but nice and helpful stuff. Enough for 1-2 day stay. Reasonable walking distance to Shimla center (keep in mind to use the 50 m away from hotel inclining walking path to reach the Mall Road. do not go under tunel it is longer) The biggest disadvantage was lack of possibility of paying with international credit card."

"Well maintained property. Staff are very helpful. Very good breakfasts. "

"I had a wonderful stay at PACK Shimla. The hotel offers a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere, with clean rooms, good hospitality, and helpful staff. The service was excellent, and the team was always attentive and welcoming. The location is convenient, and the overall experience was relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Shimla. Would love to stay here again."

"Hard to access the hotel. Room itself was ok for a night of transit."

"The staff was courteous and the room was very adorable the food was so good and tasty. Hospitality was marvelous. Very was excellent there ."

"Access to the mall is the only plus. Furnishings in the rooms are outdated and dirty. I never sat in a sofa before that has no back cushions to support you. No convenient electrical outlets to plug electronics or bedside medical devices like CPAP. Breakfast is same old average tasting buffet. No parking. You may get locked out if you are a late night player. Turns absolutely dark at night even the walkways and stairwells to the rooms, so keep a flashlight on hand. I give 2-3 stars, only for the...

"Wonderful family that owns and manages! All stars for them! Was not particularly comfortable while there. Room was cold and electric heater not strong enough to compensate. Clearly much investment/repair is underway. From what I understand, will be very nice! Particularly the new Valley View rooms which are under construction. I don’t enjoy leaving net-negative reviews but I do think that, in the spirit of honest crowd-sourcing of information…… In short, a cute/historic place with very nice...

"Parking is an issue here albeit it’s an issue for everyone. Easy enough to park at huge parking lot at bottom of hill . Rooms are spacious, beds a little soft . Linen’s are excellent as well as pillows. Walk in shower a big plus . Close to everything here . You can get close to Hotel via “Local” taxi . "
