"We were on a cycle tour and we left our bikes locked up safely in the entrance way. Our room was very comfortable, we stayed in the Curiosities room. The hotel is in a characterful building and is thoughtfully decorated with great attention to detail. It was a shared bathroom, which we actually had to ourselves, again nicely decorated and clean. A pleasant nights sleep, and handily placed for all the amenities, cafe, restaurants. We had the breakfast in the salon on the ground floor which was...

"We had a really warm welcome. The house is beautiful and we were able to message ahead and take up the offer of a very reasonably priced dinner. It was fabulous! Home cooked, home grown, local and regional produce. The best food we have had during our 4 week trip. Breakfast was included and very generous too. Cannot fault it."
