"We were on a cycle tour and we left our bikes locked up safely in the entrance way. Our room was very comfortable, we stayed in the Curiosities room. The hotel is in a characterful building and is thoughtfully decorated with great attention to detail. It was a shared bathroom, which we actually had to ourselves, again nicely decorated and clean. "Nice townhouse about 15 min walk from the centre of Angouleme. Friendly, attentive owner with plenty advice on places to eat. Tastefully furnished. Comfortable bed and private bathroom. Nice continental breakfast. Parking free on street outside the property. "

"We had a really warm welcome. The house is beautiful and we were able to message ahead and take up the offer of a very reasonably priced dinner. It was fabulous! Home cooked, home grown, local and regional produce. The best food we have had during our 4 week trip. Breakfast was included and very generous too. Cannot fault it."
