"I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Dakota. The hotel is a very short and easy walk from the train station, so it was easy to get around. There are many nice walking trails in the city, and the train ride to Lake Brienz is very short and convenient. The area is in a beautiful valley with gorgeous waterfalls nearby, including Reichenbach falls. There are also many nice shops nearby as well as a crafting/farmers market in the mornings. "Third generation family run property with very friendly innkeepers. Offered a solid breakfast with everything you could want but no eggs or breakfast meat. I didn’t miss them. Interior is cozy and charming. My balcony had such an amazing view of Witterhorn Mountain, I didn’t want to leave my room! Location is perfect, away from the touristy center of town but still walkable to everything. Can’t recommend the place enough."
