"The host was responsive and helpful every step of the way. Check in was easy and clear. They even helped arrange transportation from the airport and to the port. That was awesome. The property was close to the Colosseum and there were several dining options near by. They even provided snacks and bottled water for us upon arrival. It was a nice touch. "Our 4 night stay at Palazzo Velabro was wonderful! Our room was spacious and had a large balcony that over looked a garden and faced the Palatine Hill. The location is fantastic as the property is located within pretty close walking distance to several historical sites including Circus Maximus, the Capitoline Hill, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. We also had no problem walking up to the Pantheon or Baths of Caracalla. The Tiber River is right across the street as is the bridge to Trastavere....

"Very pleasant hotel next to the river and close to many of the best tourist sites. Not cheap but reasonable for a business hotel in central Rome. On a main road but quiet. Rooftop terrace with bar and excellent views which I only found on the last night as it has a separate lift. Very good buffet breakfast included."

"Clean room, ac was not on do to the season, which is not stated upon reserving. Comfortable bed, breakfast was nice but a short walk to it. We’d stay here again. Good location. I would suggest having a kettle in the room for coffee and tea. "
