"Nice hotel. Entrance was a bit hidden, especially when arriving by car in the rain. They have a lovely work space on the top floor but it was not open early (6 am) so could not work from there unless it was later. Staff was wonderful. Always helpful. Having train station near was also very convenient for getting to and from airport."

Friendly, charming, helpful and human - which makes all the difference. Break away from chain hotel blandness and enjoy this hotels charms. Also - room service food was quick, well presented, very tasty and delivered with a smile - in a box, rather than an unruly tray. Well done - brillant stay - loved it!"

"We stayed at the Hotel Coronation for five nights in May 2026. The location is awesome! One minutes walk to Town Hall and the QVB, five minutes walk to Hyde Park. Great bar on the ground floor. Our room was great value for the location and was spotlessly clean. Travis on front desk was incredibly helpful and friendly. Will happily stay here again next time we visit Sydney."

"Lovely art deco building, with modern rooms. Great outdoor heated pool. Lovely bar (we didn't eat in). We booked for 1 adult and 2 kids (17/14) - and it would have been ideal to have a bed on the floor, rather than sharing a double - there was plenty of room in the room for this. Maybe ask if this could be arranged if you're a family."
