"This hotel is in a great location and although a bit shabby now, was clean . The bed was not very comfortable and the bedding was compacted so somewhat heavy. Breakfast was good and tasty. Help yourself to tea or coffee but coffee not hot.
Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming on arrival. We enjoyed a drink beside the river."
"Tap and pay doesn't work. No problem with the system apparently. Taxi driver told us it is a signal blackspot. Water from room taps is nonpotable. Single bottle of water provided for two people for hot drinks and cold drinks - make your choice. Two main staff - one smiling and helpful. One clearly views you as an inconvenience. Not much choice locally but think carefully."
"It’s a lovely property been 4 times now 10 mins short journey to tweedbank railway you can get the train to Edinburgh about 40mins we have travelled all over about 2 hour radius found some lovey places plenty of parking check out there website Dryburgh Abbey hotel there is also a ruined abbey in the grounds but you have to pay to look worth doing "
"Great staff at this lovely hotel. Views are stunning. Activities to suit all. Very close to Peebles town centre.
Plenty of food options.
Room was very comfortable and super clean."
"An old fashioned hotel with a fabulous brealfast in the old dining room. Lots of open fires.
Unforunately the hotel is built over several levels with lots of creaking stairs . You will need help with your lugguage and it was provided. Hotel can be a bit noisy with the pub across the road and nearby construction. Safety handrails would be useful for getting out of the shower/bath."
