"A warm welcome from the amazingly helpful Roberta. Upgraded to a suite - v comfortable, excellent bed, and once I turned off the intrusive a/c a good night's sleep. Great breakfast, excellent coffee. A wonderful location too -- right where you want to be, and excellenr, affordable restos nearby. Just 15-20 mins from airport and amazingly helpful, thoughtful front desk. Don't rush off from the airport - spend a couple of days here getting to know Catania first."

The breakfast room on the top floor offers wonderful views (including of Mount Etna) and outside eating. The staff could not be more helpful or nice. There is an elevator, but it is necessary to negotiate some stairs as the levels are split. So enjoyed being right in the heart of the city. Since the windows are all double paned, the noise of the street does not penetrate."
