The Anchor Inn is a great place to book for a weekend at Oak Island, NC!!! The staff are helpful and provide great customer service. The hotel room was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is also great! The Anchor Inn is in walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and grocery stores. Our experience here was a 10/10!
We’ve stayed here twice now, very clean, so nice having a kitchen and full size fridge. We ran into some small issues, broken latch on porch door, broken chair back but all addressed kindly and quickly. Views are lovely, linens super clean, staff especially Heather, just OUTSTANDING! We will be back.
First off, the staff here is lovely. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and pleasant. The rooms have a microwave and a fridge that actually keeps things cold (you know what I'm talking about) in each room. Downstairs, they sell microwave meals and snacks at a reasonable price. The sheets were extremely soft, the mattress didn't hurt my back, and there were various types of pillows. I found the perfect pillow to meet my preference. They had Neutrogena products! The thermostat worked perfectly!...
Stayed one night Easter weekend as we were in town to take care of some business. We were looking for a nice room close to where we visiting. Geographically this fit the bill. Reasonable rate, newer hotel, nice & clean room (quiet away from the busy street in front), very good breakfast selection (make your own waffles, hot oatmeal, pastries, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, cereals, etc.).
Staff was awesome, clean, I always love places that have coffee all day, room was roomy & comfortable only down side was the road construction around the hotel, but was manageable & no fault of the hotel …. Great stay
From the moment I called to let them know I was running a little late until the moment I checked out, all of the staff were professional, pleasant, and welcoming. The facility was clean clean and attractive. The room was excellent as well as the amenities. I could not have hoped for a better experience.
This hotel is south of the loud business of the boardwalk. It is a family friendly beach that was clean and roomy. The hotel itself was wonderful. The staff is helpful when needed. They have delicious coffee available all day.
This was our first stay at Seven Seas Inn and it will NOT be our last. Check in was super easy, staff friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Lovely oven view from our room, hotel was with in walking distance to anything that we needed. We will be back.
The best hotel we have ever stayed at. Extremely kind and caring staff from the time we checked in until we checked out. Staff were very accommodating. Very clean. Continental Breakfast was always fresh and delicious with the sweetest staff there ever was. Honestly, we felt like home with family during our 3 night beach combing stay. We will definitely return!
I did not know what to expect from this this place. The rating said a 2 star so I wasn’t expecting a lot. When I check in Ms. Debi showed me the room and I was really surprised. This place was clean and well kept up. I really felt comfortable in this room and it felt a lot like being home. Ms. Debi was very nice and knowledgeable about the area, She told me about the island, the area, places to eat and things to do. Almost everything is in walking distance, The beach, the board walk, places to...
The room was super cute and retro. Short walk to public beach access, restaurants, shops, and live music. Room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the bench outside each of the doors. Will definitely return.
As always the hotel staff go out of their way to accommodate our family and make sure our stay was a nice as possible. We arrived early and they rearranged rooms so that we could get into our rooms as soon as possible without additional cost.
The staff were all very friendly. The lobby smelled like orange blossoms which was so nice and really added to the ambience. They were doing some construction at the property to build a new pool facility but it didn't negatively affect our stay.
