Hotel was in fabulous location just off Marienplatz. It was cute, had little pastries on check in. The breakfast was good and had a nice breakfast room. Perfect base to explore central Munich and super close to U and S bahn stop. Sad I only stayed one night. Would definitely stay longer in the future.

The fact that Hotel Europa is slightly off the beaten path (though ON the tram line) counts as an advantage. First trip to Germany, and my wife and I stayed here to enjoy Oktoberfest! Couple of quick tips and notes:
1) You're a 5 minute walk to the main Oktoberfest venue, which is a series of huge tents where people drink and sing all day. You won't need an Uber to get around the main areas of the city.
