San Anselmo is a wonderful place to visit with beautiful surroundings, shops and restaurants. It’s hard to believe huge cities are just over the small mountain. The Inn is the only place to stay right in town. The included breakfast was wonderful with fresh sweet strawberries every morning, and pastries. Check in was a breeze. It was so quiet at night that I thought we were the only guests in the whole place. No trafic noise whatsoever. That being said, my room was a bit shabby. Missing tile in...

Exceptional hotel. Primarily, the staff was professional and courteous with personality. Ricky was outstanding at check-in, Giselle was enjoyable at the wine bar, and Kevin was kind at check-out. The room was quiet and very well designed. Little details in the design were smart and made it super comfortable. Love the blackout shades and the shade in the “window” of the bathroom. Great location to stay. Many sites and restaurants in short walking distance plus public transportation is available and easy to use.

For the price and fact that it's a motel, the friendliness and service was great. Breakfast is included and there were lots of good quality options to choose from. My only complaint is there wasn't a blanket in the room in addition to the sheet and bed cover.

Beautifully appointed rooms with the right mix of antique charm and modern amenities. Also, the Kezar Pub next door is a great place for food, drinks, and sports watching!

Castle Inn was safe, clean and economical. Our only complaint was a wet towel was left on the back of the bathroom door. Other than that the room was very clean, it was safe and had free parking.

Great service

Missed my flight, and needed a place to crash for a few hours mid day. The staff were so friendly and accommodating! The room while nicely furnished showed some signs of wear and tear. Good location, comfy bed, and most of all great staff! Enjoyed my time here more than my stay at the five star Taj Hotel, and spent a lot less!!!!

Very nice hotel right next to the Amtrak station. We took the train so location was perfect. However, you will hear trains running day and night. Very clean room, comfortable bed, great shower. Fridge and microwave. Great breakfast buffet. Walk to wonderful food court place with many options.
