"Alta, Tracy and Godwin were very welcoming and very attentive.
The rooms are all external to the superb main Lodge.
I highly recommend this Lodge in it's own small but game filled reserver, separate from the main Addo Elephant Sanctuary which is some 55 minutes drive away.
Our villa\cabin\room was on its own (as all are) bur secluded in the bush. Our car could be parked very close but there were well lit gravel paths to the main Lodge.
It was not obviously apparent from booking with Exepedia...

"Very nice accommodation on a farm near Addo Park. Nice rooms with veranda and outdoor shower. Wonderful well-kept garden with views over the surrounding hills. Pleasently quiet. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby for dinner. Breakfast all good. Very nice host who tried very hard to make our stay pleasant. Thank you, we would book there again at any time. "

"Needs major improvement... extremely cold rooms without heat and building needs also to be upscaled urgently. But the major issue was at dinner when a lady (probably the owner) approached us explaining that because there was not going to be electricity the next day I had to prepay all expenses + any future expenses, which I gladly did... but there was no electricity shortage the next day, even when I asked an employee they didn’t know what was so talking about. It seems to me and please correct...

"El hotel está muy mal ubicado, a 17km de la ruta, subiendo a la cima de una montaña y por un camino de tierra, lleno de piedras (pinché una rueda bajando). Si bien sobre la ruta está a 1.5km de la entrada al Parque Nacional, se tarda no menos de 45 minutos en llegar.
Por "error" casi me cobran un 50% más de lo que había acordado. Y en la cancelación y nuevo cobro, de alguna manera se las arreglaron para cobrarme un 10% más de todas formas.

"The beds were amazing, the breakfast were fabulous - could have more options on the restaurant menu for the main meals but the staff were friendly and very accommodating. The stay was what I was expecting - quiet and peaceful. A small basin in the rooms to clean mugs etc would be nice but not a necessity. "

The B&B is beautifully presented, comfortable, clean, quiet and lovely hosts who make you feel welcome and at home. "Für den Preis unschlagbar. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung (die etwas teureren Zimmer scheinen auch besser und grösser zu sein). Das Frühstück ist großartig und ersetzt quasi das Mittagessen. Parkieren kann man im Innenhof.
In der Umgebung gibt es leider praktisch keine Restaurants. Deshalb muss man jeweils 15-20 Minuten in die Stadt fahren.
Ohne Auto ist die Unterkunft eher nicht zu empfehlen. "

"The Woodberry was in a tranquil location in the reservation. The safari drives were good with knowledgeable trackers and the apres safari drinks around the fire was a nice touch. The lodges were spacious and comfortable and the staff were friendly. It's a shame wifi is not available in the lodges. The only disappointment for us was the food. Breakfast was fine though you need to order it the night before. Lunch was a buffet and dinner needed to be ordered too but with a very limited choice and...
