Great staff and the hotel itself is not bad for the price. The problem is the location, this hotel is situated in a very dangerous part of Rio. My Uber driver who picked me up couldn’t believe we were staying in that part of town. Uber wouldn’t pick up from there either I’m assuming because it’s a bad area.
Excellent stay at this beautiful Hotel. It has 2 cute restaurants, a very nice pool. A 24 hour open gym. All the staff its very friendly. The beach its wide but it has a lot of street vendors who really bothers. The area its safe.I fully recommend this Hotel.
Nicely upkept property. Good selection for breakfast. Location is far from main attractions, so keep that in mind. With traffic you are at least 45 minutes to an hour away from things to do.
My stay at Miramar by Windsor Copacabana was outstanding. The staff was professional, friendly, and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel warm and personal. The restaurant was a highlight of my trip — breakfast was absolutely delicious and the perfect way to start the day, and dinner in the evening was just as memorable, both for the food and the atmosphere. The property was nice. The room (on 4th floor) had an interesting smell. I thought it smelled like moth repellant or cockroach repellant. But my wife said it smelled like moist mold or something. It wasn’t very bad. Breakfast was very good. The staff was really great.
Excellent location in Lapa. Plenty of bars, restaurants, and clubs both right next door and all along the next couple of blocks. But be careful, the availability of the local live music means that if your room faces the street it can be very LOUD, even with the windows closed.
