"Despite a grouchy older lady behind the counter at check-in, I won’t let her ruin the review of the hotel itself. It is beautiful, the view of Denali is amazing and the room was great. The bed was very comfy. The hotel sits off the main road so it’s very quiet. We were asked at check-in if we wanted a wake-up call if the Northern Lights were out and we said yes. At 2:45am, we got the call and got some amazing photos! There’s a restaurant, coffee shop and gift shop inside the hotel. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Private. Secluded. Clean. Beautiful. Wish we had more time to stay, but it was a short excursion for us to Talkeetna. The owners (Grace and Bill). Took the time to introduce themselves to us and were incredibly hospitable, made sure we had everything we needed. The continental breakfast nook is clean and well taken care of. The Cabin (Room#6) is private and quiet. Cannot stress the quiet. It was as relaxing as it could be. Thank you! We will be returning when time allows!"
