Learn more about Gardiner
Flanking the only year-round entrance to Yellowstone National Park, this tiny mountain town serves as the perfect basecamp for wilderness adventures. The iconic Roosevelt Arch frames your entry into a world of geysers, hot springs, and wildlife encounters. After watching bison roam the sagebrush plains, return to soak tired muscles at Yellowstone Hot Springs while swapping stories with fellow explorers. Local restaurants serve hearty portions to fuel tomorrow's adventures, whether that's fly fishing the Yellowstone River or horseback riding through Gallatin National Forest. The Yellowstone Heritage and Research Center offers fascinating insights into park history, though most visitors are too busy scanning the horizon for elk and wolves to spend much time indoors.

Antler Lodge - Gardiner MT
"Great room accommodating staff. Easy parking. Good restaurant on property."

The Roosevelt Hotel - Yellowstone
"Our room looked recently updated in the front 1/2 of building. Very quiet! Convenient to Yellowstone entrance. Not super close to all the restaurant’s but some next door and across street and others a close drive. Only downfall was the other 1/2 of facility is awkwardly up and around a gravel driveway to get to for ice and laundry. So getting ice & doing laundry was actually super inconvenient because the ice was out at the Office location. And it was a little bit of a trek to get to the laundry. But at least the laundry area was clean and seemed updated as well. I would recommend this place stayed at the Antler Inn before and it was a great place to stay too just not as updated as this location. If I were to go back to Gardiner, I would definitely stay here again."
Absaroka Lodge
"Nice size room, outside tables and chairs were a plus."

"Room was clean and well appointed. Staff was very helpful and polite. A/C was noisy and a little tough to control."
Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone, an Ascend Collection Hotel
"We loved this hotel. We opened the windows and enjoyed the sound of the water running off the rocks. The beds were so comfy."
Yellowstone Riverside Cottages
"It's not fancy or have a whole lot of curb appeal, but it's clean, very nice front desk service and a has a great deck to hang out in the afternoon with your favorite beverage with a nice view of the river and mountains. Also it's an easy short walk to the downtown restaurants and shops"
Dreamcatcher Tipi Hotel
"What a special place. We booked this on our last two nights of a 10 day vacation. The place is so clean & comfortable. We enjoyed the community fire & s’mores each night. We saw more wildlife (elk) in this area than Yellowstone & Grand Teton. Breakfast options were great. Staff were very sweet. We would go again in a heartbeat 💗"
Yellowstone Big Rock Inn
"Easy to park"
