Positives: Grounds and condo are beautiful. Pool is original and well kept. Has its own nature path. Was immaculately clean upon check in. Great amenities with tennis courts etc. With free rental of equipment.
Negatives: Did cost an extra 25 dollars to park and condo fees. Parking should be minimal fee. 10 dollars max. Based on location /isolation of units, there should not be a problem with visitors parking there.
Comfortable studio with well stocked kitchen. There were more tools in the kitchen than in many Air bnb's I've stayed in. Nice grounds and pool. Since the property is on a cliff, there is a shuttle to the St. Regis to use their beach/bay/water sports/ cabana servers-- what a treat!
If you're looking to spend inordinate amount of $$ on a luxury hotel with the decadent and unnecessary status and frivolous amenities, this is probably not for you. If, however, you're looking for a clean, 2 story, fully (and I mean fully) furnished condo with a LR, K, 1/2 bath and 2 lanais and a front porch down, AND 2 BR's, a full bath/laundry room up, clean and extremely well-kept, close to everything - much of it in walking distance, then this IS for you. After having some reservations...
Amazing location, super friendly staff, loved being literally on the beach club, the restaurant is fantastic and overall the property is so well maintained, convenient and a must for an affordable stay!!!
We had a fabulous vacation here. The rooms are spacious and clean. We stayed in the two bedroom two bath. We could all spread out and enjoy a little privacy. There was a beautiful furnished patio area where we sat every morning to enjoy the beautiful sunrise. There were glass doors that could be opened from the living area to the patio area that functioned as a lanai. The kitchen was functional with a large sub zero fridge, stove, coffee pot, microwave, blender, pots, and pans. We had a...
I don’t know what isn’t too like. Everything about this place screams cute and quaint. Just perfect for the garden isle. I read someone on another review complain about the chickens… if you don’t like the chickens then go to another island because they are everywhere! Beautiful stay
This was our first time staying at a resort and we had a fantastic experience. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the restaurants were yummy
I only needed the room for one night, so I didn't stay there long. It was fine for just a bed and a shower, but the bathroom was really small. Also, there is no elevator, so you may need to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs. Parking was hard to find when I arrived at 9 pm, but there were signs that parking was available behind the building.
Just do it!!!!!!! Waking up to ocean background was like heaven. The bed was amazzzzinggg! We were lucky enough to drive around the whole island and honestly this location was just the best. We were able to confirm that staying on the east of the island in Kapa’a was the most convenient. Although it does rain here and there it does clear away. You are very close to the airport and walking distance to great food options. If it matters a 2 minute drive to starbucks ;) We are coming back for sure...
I liked the location, the ocean view. Everything was kept really nice. The only thing I would have liked is a microwave in our room and maybe a little bigger refrigerator. Getting left on the highway from the resort was a little tricky at times with the amount of traffic. Overall we really liked the property and the staff was alway helpful.
We chose Kau'i Beach Club for our honeymoon and it was a fantastic choice! It was everything that you'd expect for a hotel on the beach but what surpassed our expectations was the amazing hotel food and service. Loved every minute of our stay!
Full fridge (rare), an air conditioning unit that splits the air between the bedroom wall and the living room wall, quiet neighborhood, comfortable inside, good room service. They also supply daily or when needed: paper towels, palmolive, in addition to the regular hotel uses like shampoos, hand creams, soaps, coffee, tea, etc etc etc.
Great place to stay.
Perfect for a good nights rest and showering. Room not meant to stay in all day so if you're looking for a resort this is not it. Clean showers and comfy bed. Air conditioning does work and is awesome. Good location- 5 mins from airport. Upgrade from a hostel and very private yet still affordable. Definitely stay here if you don't plan on being at the hotel most of the day (which you shouldn't be because Kauai has a lot of fun stuff to do during the day).
