Great customer service. Everyone was very nice and helpful. It was our first time visiting the area and we loved every minute. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake. We will be booking a longer stay for next year! 😁
Unbelievably clean with a very comfy mattress! The view from our room was crappy (a raggedy house next door), but the smell was fantastic... we were on the other side of a chocolate and ice cream shop! Would definitely stay here again.
We slept here for two nights as a family of 4. We had two vehicles coming in, both extremely late, so staff worked with us to be able to get into our room past check in time. We had family events in the area, so we barely spent any time on the property, but everything seemed great.
The only thing of note to keep in mind is that they do have soap for handwashing and showering, but they do not have shampoo or conditioner. Maybe it was available if we asked, but since we showered elsewhere it...
We really enjoyed our stay: the pool was warmer than we expected and the hot-tub was spacious. Our room was clean and quiet and they have a great breakfast, too. Check-in staff was very friendly and helpful.

My husband and I were so impressed with this motel. So easy to find, great location, and the room was large. Very comfortable king bed and the shower was great. The private beach was large, plenty of chairs, and the view of the lake from the balcony was gorgeous! Very short walk to town where one can find cafes, restaurants, etc. We will be back!
I have stayed at this property 2-3 times a year for several years now, when I travel north to go birding/hiking at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. As a single woman traveling alone and kinda fussy, I appreciate their attention to the cleanliness of the entire hotel. I have no problem walking barefoot in the room because I know it’s clean. All room surfaces are immaculate…and the bed comfort is beyond wonderful! Just wish I had one at home like this. HUGE TV in the room for evening...
