"Afton was a cute stop on our way to the Grand Tetons before heading towards Yellowstone. The hotel was newer and very nice. Its location was right on the Main Street and we discovered a beautiful short hike nearby towards a cold water Geiser. We stopped here because Jackson hole was expensive. It was still an hour further but a pleasant drive. The breakfast was standard for this type of stop. Waffles, sausages and eggs along with oatmeal or cereal choices. Perfectly for a family with kids or not wanting to spend additional money on the road. The pool and spa is small and indoors which we didn’t go into but it is available for those interested. The staff was friendly."
