Old Market
Old Market's cobblestone streets lead you through a wonderland of 19th-century brick warehouses turned cultural hotspots. Art lovers browse the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts while foodies hop between eclectic eateries serving everything from Nebraska steaks to global cuisine. Live music spills from doorways as shoppers discover vintage treasures and local art in converted warehouses. Dining options range from casual cafes to upscale steakhouses, with most spots busiest on weekend evenings. Hotels occupy historic buildings with exposed brick and modern amenities. The pedestrian-friendly layout makes exploring a breeze, with the nearby Missouri River and Heartland of America Park offering scenic breaks from urban adventures.

Downtown Omaha
Explore the historic core of Omaha, where you'll find the Old Market Historic District, offering boutique shops, dining, and cultural activities. Don't miss the Orpheum Theater and Omaha Children's Museum nearby.

Blackstone District
The Blackstone District in Omaha is a hip, history-packed playground where craft beer flows and indie boutiques flourish. Anchored by the iconic Blackstone Hotel, this revitalized neighborhood serves up a perfect mix of vintage architecture and modern fun. Stroll down Farnam Street to discover cocktail lounges with warm glowing windows, street art splashed across brick buildings, and a buzzing nightlife scene that locals actually show up for. Food options range from brewery gastropubs to upscale spots with farm-to-table menus worth texting your friends about. The district is delightfully walkable with most hot spots just blocks apart. While there's limited public transit, ride-sharing is plentiful and bike lanes make two-wheeled exploration a breeze.

Benson
Benson's historic streets hum with artistic energy and local pride. Maple Street serves up indie music venues, craft breweries, and art galleries tucked into vintage brick buildings. Stroll through this creative hub where neon signs light up the night and local musicians provide the soundtrack. The neighborhood balances its hipster vibe with genuine Midwestern charm that's hard to resist. Fuel up at farm-to-table spots where Nebraska beef pairs perfectly with local brews. Most shops and venues wake up after 3pm, creating a lively evening scene that locals and visitors share. With limited lodging in Benson itself, many stay downtown and make the quick trip over for Omaha's coolest night out.

Aksarben - Elmwood Park
The Aksarben-Elmwood Park neighborhood blends campus energy with peaceful residential charm. Students buzz around the University of Nebraska at Omaha while locals enjoy the tree-lined streets. Aksarben Village serves as the modern heart of the area with restaurants, shops, and a cinema. Take a swing at Elmwood Park Golf Course or catch community events like farmers markets and outdoor concerts. Wide sidewalks make exploring a breeze, whether you're heading to Baxter Arena or relaxing in Memorial Park. The dining scene ranges from student-friendly spots to date-night restaurants, with most places within a 10-minute walk. Modern apartment rentals make up most accommodations in this walkable, bike-friendly neighborhood connected by regular bus service.

Kimpton Cottonwood by IHG
"We love staying there. Love the hotel itself and all of the amenities as well as the outdoor pool area!!!!"
Omaha Marriott
"Overall, this is a very nice hotel and we had a good experience. A couple of issues that were confusing were: 1. The outdoor pool cleaning wasn't completed until 11am on a very warm day, and it seems that should be able to be finished in time for guests to enjoy the pool every day during pool hours. 2. Of the 3 elevators, one wasn't working at all, one required a trip to the 6th floor before going down, and the other worked. There was a sign (with graphics, very attractive) posted in the elevators saying we were all on an adventure while the elevators are being repaired. How long does that take? Long enough that it required a graphic designer to create and post a flyer with an unknown date of repair completion. Very odd. 3. There wasn't decaf coffee available in the morning in the lobby."
Moxy Omaha Downtown
"The location close to the Old Market and our favorite jaunts was perfect. The staff was knowledgble and helpful. Parking is across the street in a public parking garage, a little inconvenient because of the street car construction. We were able to add parking on to our stay. There was a little mix up where we did not get our parking pass code. We were able to follow the directions Moxy gave us and we had no problems getting our car out. Nice little bar, good coffee in the morning. We will stay again."
Hotel Deco Omaha, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
"Very cute boutique hotel. Valet parking was affordable ($25) and easy. Love the Alice in Wonderland theming!"
Hilton Garden Inn Omaha Downtown/Old Market Area
"I think it was a very nice hotel. I do have one complaint, though the parking ramps speed bump scraped the entire underneath of my car and looking at it. It’s scraped a lot of people’s cars. I was scared it did damage so that needs to be addressed or we won’t be coming back to that hotel."
DoubleTree by Hilton Omaha Southwest
"Good, comfortable stay…in a good area. Just what we were looking for on our overnight stay"
Best Western Plus Midwest Inn
"The hotel was good, decent breakfast and overall clean. The kids loved the pool!! The slide kept them entertained for hours."
Magnolia Hotel Omaha
"Very comfortable, quiet, great staff and convenient location."
Hampton Inn & Suites Omaha-Downtown
"Decent stay overall, but nothing that stood out. The front desk was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about things to do. Otherwise, the room was pretty dated. Really just a bed to sleep in."
