"Great hotel. Very clean and quiet. On site pizza was really good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The only thing to know ahead of time is that there is zero cell service in this area and you will rely on the wifi which is not bad.
Also the only grocery store is at the hotel and it is a bit pricey but compared to the store in El Portal it is amazing.

"First time glamping and would do it again. Beautiful grounds with lots of amenities and activities. Fresh towels, coffee and tea. Campfires with great hiking trail and the best sunrise and sunset view. Marshmallow at night. Stargazing hard cuz it’s a well lit throughout. Though bathrooms are not right next to tents or cabins it’s central and short walk. Great staff and very safe."
"We stayed in a cabin with sofa bed. The hotel has a lovely setting with lots of things to do. We booked two guided hikes/tours - both were excellent. The pool was a little crowded with lots of children and I don’t recommend the nightly BBQ as it’s difficult to get a table before the food runs out. But the tavern and restaurant were fab. There is a games room which our teenage son loved. The cottage was a little rustic and the sofa bed squeaked but overall fine. I am really glad we booked this hotel as the other two in the same chain are either further from the park (Firefall) or more of a traditional hotel style (Rush Creek). "
