"Clean room. Updated decor. Loved the tiled floor. Microwave & fridge. Ample charging outlets. Reading lights. Easy ice machine. Easy parking. Hotel is well decorated and cleaned. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close proximity to shopping, dining and garden of the gods, red rock canyon, pikes peak. Breakfast was ok. Waffle iron, fruit, no protein, meh coffee. Large dining area. Area closed off after hours. Pool was decent. Hot tub was warm, not hot."

"Well...it IS a very old, historic hotel which is what makes it fun and enjoyable. However, you can tell that they have not been able to invest any money into this gem in a long time. The room was super outdated and needed lots of TLC but it was clean and the bed was super comfy. The lights worked. The gas fireplace worked. The A/C worked. The main thoroughfares look pretty nice and well maintained but once you get off the beaten path the place is in shambles. Super nice staff!! Too bad they don't make enough to keep it up to standard! Price is high for what you get."
