Learn more about Geyserville
Amid rolling hills and ancient redwoods, this one-stoplight town packs an outsized punch for wine enthusiasts. Family-owned vineyards like Trentadue and deLorimier offer tastings with none of the pretension found elsewhere. The Francis Ford Coppola Winery combines cinematic memorabilia with exceptional vintages in surroundings that feel like a movie set. After sampling Cabernets, cool off with a paddle down the Russian River or cycle the quiet back roads that reveal panoramic vineyard vistas. Local restaurants serve farm-to-table cuisine where chefs know farmers by name. The town's 900 residents have mastered the art of unhurried hospitality, making visitors feel like temporary locals rather than tourists.

Dry Creek Inn MOD Collection by Sonesta
8/10 Good
"Clean room, and serviced daily. Check in was friendly, but didn't interact with staff otherwise, as no issues. Air-con worked well. The outdoor pool wasn't used as lots of debris in pool and it needed a good hoovering, but the water was clear and treated. Location was OK, and the parking around the motel was fine"
The Sandman Santa Rosa Sonoma, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in 8 hotels on our trip, and this was absolutely the nicest one! Upscale shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Real coffee mugs and glasses. Full breakfast included. Great choices on TV channels. Very nice room!"
Golden Haven Hot Springs
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our stay at this place. It was charming, clean and walkable to downtown. The pool, hot tubes and robes were especially nice. We love our time here."
Calistoga Motor Lodge and Spa

Geyserville Inn
8/10 Good
"The property is getting a little tired and the furniture and fixtures could use some upgrades, along with the coffee in the lobby. We checked in on a Wednesday and tried to get a room on the second floor but for some reason none were available and the hotel didn't seem that full. The ceilings are a little thin and we could definitely hear our heavy-footed upstairs neighbors on Thursday night and Friday morning. They did let us trade our gifted white wine for a red and our stay was otherwise pleasant,"
Vinarosa Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Great and relaxing location and well kept property"
The Ranch at Lake Sonoma
10/10 Excellent
"The hosts were lovely, and the beds super comfy and clean and beautifully presented. It’s not a “glamping” facility however, it’s really camping there’s one single use bathroom and two showers for the whole campsite plus some porta potties, and you should bring food with you to cook at the camp fire as it’s a 15 min drive to nearest shops. We booked last minute, so totally our fault we weren’t prepared/had different expectations. It’s really a camping experience with some glamping tents, not a full glamping experience, which is totally fine, just unexpected! The tents are close to each other, so very family friendly but not much privacy and they give you earplugs. Also the phone number on the website was not working, but when we did find the hosts they were lovely and helped with everything and gave us contact details."
