Had to evacuate for Hurricane Matthew. Wasn't expecting much in the small town. Service was PHENOMENAL!! Building and rooms were very well maintained, much better than most other Days Inn. Beds were extremely comfortable and rooms were SUPER CLEAN!! I appreciated everything they did for us and the owners were very ACCOMODATING to everyone's needs. Everything was great, but noticed a manager parks under check in roof 2 days in a row. Also she yelled at some kids who had gotten out of pool for getting her carpet wet when they came back in. Front desk staff was very, very nice.
For a small town, hotel was right in the center of everything. Next to all the restaurants and shops. Hotel itself was nice, clean, and quiet. Staff was friendly and the free breakfast was great.
When we arrived to get our room it was ready and we were quickly checked in. Our stay was very pleasant and when we checked out it was quick and we were on our way. Our only problems were minor such as no ice in the ice machine and we only got one small cup of coffee before it was gone. It took some work to get our room card to work, but not any major problems and the beds were clean and very comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.
Just needed a clean, comfortable bed for the night while riding Harley from St. Augustine to Franklin, N.C. This hotel delivered. Rooms were older but no odors or mustiness. Everything was as advertised. Had a good night's sleep in a clean room with no noise to speak of. Staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was good. I had biscuits & gravy but could have selected from waffles, etc. Would stop again.
