The host of the Sautee Inn are very warm and welcoming.
The breakfast was outstanding as well as the late night dessert. Nearby we ate at Mully’s which also was also excellent. Great place to stay when visiting Helen GA.
Forest Hills is in a quiet mountain setting surrounded by beautiful peacefulness of nature. Driving in you are greeted by stunning horses and friendly cats near the offices. The rooms are cozy, beds were comfy and staff super friendly and welcoming
This is an older hotel, but our room was in very good shape, as well as very clean. The staff is both competent and friendly. The continental breakfast is what you would expect, but the breakfast area is quite small.
There is a blind curve close to the hotel entrance; the speed limit is 40, but some of the cars travel very fast, so be careful. We were almost hit.
Fantastic hotel, right in the center of town....30 seconds walk to the nearest pub....30 seconds past that and you are in the main square.
Hotel looks traditional from the outside but has many modern touches within such as iPads in reception and electric charging stations for cars.
Rooms were modern without completely going against the overall ethos of the building. Clean, welcoming....would totally recommend!
We loved our stay at the Old Storehouse Inn! It is located only a block off of town square making it very easy to have a walking stay. The room was nicely furnished and we had a lovely balcony off of the room to enjoy the evening. We will stay here when we return to the area.
Perfect location! It is located directly in the town square. It was built with a front to match the existing structures so don’t look for the typical Holiday Inn Express exterior.
Beautiful property, the rooms were very clean and communication with owners was awesome. It has minor issues being an old building which didn't affect my stay, such as some noisy floors under the carpet, and the fact that it does not have an elevator. But we loved the stay, this hotel makes you feel part of the town history. My oldest kids found it great to stay here. We loved Dahlonega and will definutely visit again.
It was very quaint and unique. The room was very pretty and comfortable. There was a screened porch and a sitting area. There were 3 TVs- one at the bed- one in the sitting area and one on the porch. It was quiet the day I went (Wednesday). It’s right off the square too so you can walk everywhere.
We were booked to stay in the eco cabin but with wedding attire we could not manage the trek up the hill. They moved us to a room and were very nice and great to work with.
We enjoyed waking up to the rooster and wandering the property to meet the other animals. The cabin was clean and had a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and small refrigerator. The last stretch is a gravel road. Lots to explore in the area. The property is very secluded and quiet. We hope to make a return trip.
