An absolutely beautiful stay near Denali National Park. The property feels personal and thoughtfully designed, and the hostess’s genuine hospitality really elevates the experience. Our suite was tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed and quality linens, and the bathroom amenities were spot‑on. Breakfast was wholesome and satisfying, and the check‑in instructions were clear and seamless. The location is also convenient, just a short drive to the grocery store and gas station. A wonderful...
Noah was so kind and helpful! The Cozy Wolf cabin was comfortable, spacious, and spotlessly clean. We had dinner at the 49th State Brewery, which is about a mile up the road. One of the only places close by, but luckily it was phenomenal! Fun stay!
My wife and I stayed for 3 nights during the time we spent in the Denali area (honeymoon)
The cabin was very clean and cozy! We were happy to be staying down the road from the masses (majority of cruise ship tourists/crowds)
A short drive to Denali National Park entrance, Three Bears Grocery store/gas,
and walking distance to 49th State Brewery (great food!)
A nice quiet, relaxing stay!
Everyone in our group loved this place. Cabins are hand built by the owners, and really cool. We went to the sled dog tour/talk located on the property, and learned a lot. Deducted 1 star because the shower wasn't use able for mobility challenged member. Great place, and would stay there again.
Loved the view, the location and the feel of the place.
Cleanliness could be a little better. When we walked in our room there was a disposable razor on the floor under the edge of the bed. Hopefully it fell out of the trash bag when it was being cleaned and just got overlooked. The rest of the room was clean. The door does need replaced. Large gaps in the door and frame. The gaps allow mosquitoes to get in and you wouldn’t want to leave your window open during the evening due to holes in the...
Was concerned about staying in a rustic cabin and was very pleased with our stay, since I booked for another couple as well. Service and rooms were great. The fact that we rented a car to tour Alaska before our cruise, made it a perfect spot to stay. Short drive up the road to take the Motor Cruise through Denali and this hotel was perfect to arrive early enough to have breakfast. (do call the hotel to get correct time of departure on motor coach (ours was delayed, allowing us time to enjoy...
The $31 breakfast buffet is absurd. Clearly the property is aware because the host felt obligated to tell us. Unfortunately, with the time we had prior to our excursion this was our only option. Also a host told me and my daughter the bar was open seating. After I ordered a drink and she ordered a soda an additinal bartender told us we weren't allowed. Finally dragging luggage through gravel to get to our room at a $400 accommodation is ridiculous.
This was a nice, reasonable alternative to the overpriced tourist places seven miles up the road. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and the staff courteous and accommodating to the possibility of a late arrival. Why pay twice the price at one of the cruise line oriented places, when in reality one is not there to stay in the room like it was home, but to get out and see the nature that is the real attraction in the Denali area? This hotel is all one needs as a base for recreating and...
A unique, fun place to stay. Hotel staff was very accomodating in helping us to have a room that met my disability needs. Shuttle met us at railroad and took care of getting our luggage to our room.
