We stayed the night before Thanksgiving and left on Saturday. Walked many miles on the beaches around Cape Hatteras Light. Picked up a boat load of shells. Went to a craft show at the local high school in Buxton. A most enjoyable Thanksgiving holiday.
I decided for my 50th birthday vacation we would visit Cape Hatteras. Our room was booked online without prior knowledge of Tower Circle OBX. The cottage was better than I had expected. The photos on the website are outdated. The cottage was newly renovated and it was adorable. We were only there for the night fishing but I will definitely be going back! I loved that it had a utensil stocked kitchen complete with pots and pants. The washer and dryer were a plus also!
