"Room was large for 3 people."
The Kenilworth Hotel - Airport West
"It was an amazing stay. Everything was okay. The only problem was breakfast. It wasn’t a problem but I think the breakfast should have more varieties. That’s my opinion.. but in all it was an 8/10. Will come back anytime I come to new york"
Madison Hotel
"I really wanted to love this hotel, especially after seeing the gorgeous photos of the glass conservatory attached to the property. The complimentary breakfast was also a great added bonus and one of the things that made the stay particularly appealing. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. The biggest issue was the musty smell throughout the hotel and in the room. It was difficult to overlook and made the property feel like it needed better ventilation. I also found it disappointing that daily room cleaning was only available upon request, rather than being part of the standard stay. The bathroom was fairly mediocre, and there were brownish areas in the corners of the ceiling above the shower, which definitely didn’t inspire confidence in the overall upkeep. The location is convenient, particularly with a NJ Transit station nearby, which is a definite plus for getting around. However, there is a trade-off: I was awakened and startled by a train horn at around 4 AM. Noise doesn’t typically bother me, but because it was so unexpected, it was definitely jarring. If you’re a light sleeper, the proximity to the train is something to keep in mind. Overall, I think this could be a really beautiful hotel with some investment and attention. The property needs to be refreshed, the air quality addressed, and the rooms and bathrooms given a proper revamp. With some updates, it could live up to the beautiful images that initially drew me in."

"The staff were extremely attentive; always making sure that we had everything we needed. It's directly across the street from NJ transit & located in a neighborhood with many places to dine. The rooms were very clean. Wi-Fi worked well. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay."
