This is a really unique lodging with lots of details for comfort, it is visually fun, and ecologically sound. Great place to stay in a still active downtown of Logan and beautiful Hocking Hills parks all around.
Clean room, clean sheets and towels, hot water and heater worked great. No breakfast to speak of and there are plenty of restaurants just down the street. Can't beat it for the price. It is an economy hotel that's better kept up than rooms costing 2-3 times in other national chains.
Upon arrival we were so blown away by the beauty of the cabin we decided to inquire and book an extra night as 2 nights just would not be enough time. We spent our first night soaking in each other and soaking in the hot tub. Day 2 we visited the sauna pods and booked a professional photography session which lead to a proposal! Then we enjoyed a unique romantic dinner at Glenlaurel (it’s a must try). Our last day was filled with hiking, visiting the Hocking hills winery, deer watching, sitting...
Staff was exceedingly helpful and friendly. Room was excellent - quiet, clean, and well furnished. Location was perfect for walking everywhere in downtown Athens.Will definitely stay there again next time I'm in town!
Close to main highways, shops & restaurants. Easy access & parking. Big dining area for continental breakfast. Several people came from out of town for a funeral, so we all sat in the lobby & visited by the fireplace on a big couch. They have an indoor saltwater pool, which is awesome for the kids. We had a double queen bed room, which was clean & spacious. Small microwave & refrigerator too. Bathroom was very clean & spacious as well. My brother had a king bed room, it had a "livingroom" area...
The hotel was great, comfortable, clean, good breakfast, very nice helpful staff, and reasonably priced. It is a little dated and some of the furnishings like shower curtains and bedroom curtains could be replaced but it didn't detract from the overall experience. It is within walking distance of a few restaurants and very easy access to the highway. It had a huge pool and an exercise room as well as snack machines and other amenities. We would definitely stay there again.
We stayed here because it was close to the “Hippie Fest.” Loved how there was a Walmart and other stores/restaurants in walking distance. The only issue was that there wasn’t a bigger choice for hot breakfast food…like eggs, pancakes, and no fruit left. In all fairness, we didn’t get there super and it was almost an hour before the kitchen closed so maybe that’s why. We plan on staying there again for next year’s hippie fest. ✌️ ☮️ 🙂
Very easy to check in, cabin was beautiful with a nice private feeling, hot tub was really nice, loved the fully stocked kitchen with pots/pans/utensils etc. Thank you Kevin for the opportunity to stay in this lovely cabin!
