Learn more about Sherwood
Discover a slice of small-town America in Old Town, where local shops and cafes serve up charm alongside fresh-baked pastries. The Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge offers trails through wetlands where great blue herons pose like statues among the reeds. Wine lovers can sample pinot noir at nearby vineyards that dot the rolling countryside. Each June, the Robin Hood Festival transforms the streets with medieval revelry, complete with archery contests and wandering minstrels. For a perfect afternoon, grab coffee from a local roaster before exploring the farmers market, where orchard owners sell fruit picked that morning. The community calendar stays surprisingly full for a town this size, with outdoor concerts and holiday parades that feel like family reunions.

The Porter Portland, Curio Collection by Hilton
"The staff is great and tries hard to accommodate requests. There were a few facility items that knocked my score down to four stars versus five: the first room I was in the refrigerator temperature dial was missing so I couldn't make it colder, the light for the bathroom is automatic which is great, but it is too bright for middle of the night bathroom trips, there was body lotion instead of body wash in our shower and I notified the front desk and that was not changed out for us the same day. I did, however, experienced more challenging situations with the property which were promptly and immediately resolved with graciousness."
Mark Spencer Hotel
"Great location, unique old property, even found on-street parking!"
