Learn more about Rio Rancho
Beneath the Sandia Mountains, this desert suburb offers more than meets the eye. The J&R Vintage Auto Museum showcases gleaming chrome treasures that transport visitors to America's automotive golden age. Catch concerts or sporting events at the Santa Ana Star Center, where the acoustics rival the entertainment. The Rio Grande provides a ribbon of green through the desert landscape, with trails perfect for morning walks before the heat sets in. Local restaurants serve New Mexican cuisine that doesn't shy away from heat – ask for 'Christmas' to try both red and green chile sauces. During balloon festival season, look up to see the sky dotted with colorful visitors. For a perfect sunset, head to any east-facing viewpoint as the mountains turn their famous watermelon hue.

The Clyde Hotel
"Hotel and staff were wonderful. The first person i met was the valet (I wish I could remember his name. He is extra excellent) he gave me straight forward directions to self park and to bring my ticket to check in. Really a huge help from a long day. If I had it to do again I would have gone to dinner before I parked my car as the “Prime Rin French dip was just sorta ok. The gentleman that waited on me was great and my tip reflected his service rather than the quality of the food in the bar."
Nativo Lodge Hotel Albuquerque
"stayed 09-05 to 09-06, caught a last minute deal on here that offered a Junior Suite for $139. The description was mountain view and the pictures looked great. Once arrived the taxes and fees extra were $70 plus, so the deal went out the window. The room had a view of the backside of a building and a small courtyard where the pool was, mountains were nowhere to be found in view. The room was large but only had one desk chair and desk, end tables and bed, a lot of empty floor space. It looked like sleeping in an room that they just "threw" together. In the morning had to call the maintenance due to the shower would not switch from tub to shower, maintenance had to yank hard on the knob which i did not want to put too much force and break the thing. Overall the property was in a nice location and was nice aesthetically. Would I stay again? maybe, but i would review the room first to see if its what i paid for."

"The staff were very nice and the room was clean."
Hilton Garden Inn Albuquerque North/Rio Rancho
"The check in was easy. They were dog friendly. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Love the Crabtree & Evelyn products, small details that make an impact. My only constructive feedback is keep coffee in the lobby going longer. We don’t care about breakfast but at 9:20am we’re told “we just ran out” of coffee. We attended a concert and didn’t get into bed until 1am. Having to run to Starbucks after spending over $200 for 1 night stay a simple drip coffee would have been huge. Also a grassy dog area away from the busy road would be super for those of us paying $75 for pets to stay. Overall, excellent stay, my above are just suggestions to keep improving!"

"The room we first stayed at didn't have window blinds so that didn't help, confirm with hotel staff first before anything. Its a hassle to keep moving things from one room to another"
