Kayak through bioluminescent waters at night, watching the bay light up with every paddle stroke. Explore El Yunque National Forest's lush trails and waterfalls, then return to Fajardo's marinas for fresh seafood and sailing adventures.
Youhave to take the kayak tour in the Bioluminous bay while you're there. There are plenty of companies you can find online that do the tours, go to the later tour if you can. I have been to 4 of these bays and this one is the best.

Fajardo has something for everyone. Wonderful beaches, horseback riding on the beach nearby, snorkeling and so much more. Very safe area to walk. Parking a little difficult until you get used to it.

Fajardo outside the resort is more of a local flavor, but we had only great experiences with the local restaurants and businesses. Restaurant El Pescador was truly exceptional, the East End Water Taxi guys were awesome.

Everything is fabulous except the road conditions -- rent something with ground clearance or prepare to pay for bumper damage.

I enjoyed discovering this side of the island. I did find it a bit touristy !
"The food was not the best in the Tappas. Bar , had bad rotten lettuce in my $18 salad and told the waitress who did nothing and went back to chatting with her coworkers, service was bad and the place was not busy . Staff standing around chatting , never checked in on us "
"The place felt very welcoming, though a bit smaller than I expected. Still, it met my expectations. It’s a quiet location with on-site parking, easy access to food options, and close to the beaches."
"Property was spacious and the location was safe. Parking was easy and the beach was 5-7 minutes away. Luquillo was also about 20 minutes away by car. "
