Hotels in Bang Bo

"I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately our experience at the 5-star Valia Hotel Bangkok was extremely disappointing. During our 2-week stay in Thailand, we stayed in several 4- and 5-star hotels, all with excellent service and amazing breakfast experiences. However, this hotel was by far the worst experience we had. The breakfast was honestly terrible. The hotel should seriously reconsider both the breakfast chef and part of the rude staff. Serving simple bouillon and calling it “Japanese soup” is just lazy and unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. Food in the open kitchen area was carelessly thrown onto the serving platform, which looked very unprofessional and unhygienic. The tea was already pre-made and left in large jugs, clearly to save on tea bags. This is not acceptable for a luxury hotel. The pancakes had the texture of gummy bears, and the chocolate spread was so hard that the spoon was almost stuck inside like cement.I have never experienced such poor breakfast quality in a 5-star hotel before. To make matters worse, upon arrival we found blood stains on the bed sheets and red lipstick marks in the bathroom and bathtub. That should never happen in a hotel of this standard. Very disappointing experience overall."

"Good stay, room was clean and tidy. Shuttle takes time to go from Ap to hotel as it is a little bit of a drive not exactly close. Property a little dated but otherwise great.They don't have ice machines anywhere which is kind of necessity during the summer. Hotel sends copy of your passport to Ap authorities which I thought was weird since they already scan it at immigration, but weird Asian rules.Food at the bar comes from the restaurant which seems decent. Anyway good for short transit stay."

"Very nice hotel, very close to the airport, with a great 24 hour shuttle service. If you want to go with train to Bangkok city center, the train station is a short walk away. The staff is very helpful, and we highly recommend staying here!"

"This hotel is very high end. The rooms are Morden luxurious and have all amenities that you could want. The in room dining service was very good as was the gym amd breakfast. The spa services were good but was an onsen so had to go in naked with separate facilities for men and woman. The massage was good and all services were very cheap compared to the UK. Was central and near good shopping services. Would highly recommend. Oh and the staff were very attentive."
