"It’s a simple but very clean hotel. The staff was not on site but very accessible on the phone. Friendly. The room is small but has a small fridge. The only issue for us was no blinds on the window. The street lamp was right across our window, and it was pretty bright in our room, especially by the coach directly next to the window. We found a garage five minute walk from the hotel, so we parked the car there. Otherwise, it is street parking."

"Location in the old city near restaurants. It is newly constructed hotel (with a historic exterior) with all the modern amenities. Appreciated the touch of l’Occtaine soaps, convenience of the affordable hotel restaurant for breakfast, and bar. There is a Michelin restaurant ‘Ola’ which we didn’t try. Staff were extremely helpful with recommendations, spoke English and pleasant. We would definitely return if we visit Bilbao again."

"The hotel is nice, welcoming, and clean. The air conditioning worked great and was a good respite from the heat. Breakfast was good but picked over if you weren’t there early. The sun deck is small but nice. Our only complaint was that the pool is in need of an overhaul. There were a lot of missing tiles and the stairs were unsafe. But, overall, it was a nice location."

"Arenal Suites were ideally located in the old town. Staff were very friendly and super helpful, especially Ivan on the reception desk. The room was clean and tidy. We were lucky to have a room with a balcony which overlooked a busy street. The double glazing was very effective!! Overall I would highly recommend this accommodation and wouldn't hesitate to book it again. Eskerrik asko!!"

"Very nice place, in the heart of old Bilbao. The only negative comment would be that the walls are super thin, therefore you can hear the other rooms pretty well. Also, please note that, since cars can't circulate in the old part of town, you have to walk a bit to get to the hotel (about 5 mins, nothing to exhausting). Otherwise everything else was perfect."
