Check in was a breeze with friendly owners on the front desk to show me around the place and to my room.
Breakfast (as others have said) was fab with really nice quality food and really tasty coffee but the hot food is cooked to order so don't expect to walk in and just eat!
The bedroom was good, nice and clean with a comfy bed. My only downside would be that it could do with better blackout curtains as I was awake before the...

Only thing that i would suggest to the owner is that some blinds are put up at the window to make it more private as we were at the front of the property and needed the curtains drawn unless fully dressed.

"We stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Our large room had a comfy 4 poster bed, table, chairs in the bay window. Bathroom had large fluffy towels, lots of hot water. The views from both windows overlooked the well manicured grounds with benches, fabulous flowers in baskets and trees
Breakfast was tasty with vegetarian options. The Eggs royale was excellent. Inn was clean, tastefully decorated with friendly efficient staff.

"Unfortunately I had eaten enroute so did not dine in the nicely furnished olde style pub which took orders until 20.30 but, despite my 20.20 arrival I was given opportunity to eat. The bed was very comfortable. An armchairxwas provided in addition to a chair."

"Nice, clean with a nice local pub right across the courtyard. Very handy. However the pub is only open limited hours and no where else to eat within walking distance except a fish n chips joint. We stayed in apartment 3. Suited our family of 4 well, but note there is no mini fridge or micro that a family might hope for. Walls are thin too but not a big deal.

"The Barns Hotel is a great place to stay. Staff are very accommodating and friendly, room was comfortable and clean and there is free parking.
The restaurant served reasonably priced food and the breakfast was lovely.
The manager kept the bar open until we had all returned from a local festival.
We would stay here again in the future 😁

"Had a great 1 night stay at The Barns to go to nearby Cannock Chase for a forest live concert.Very nice room really comfy bed and spotlessly clean the Bar and resteraunt area are well presented plenty of seating even tho it was very busy weekend breakfast was very good with a choice of options served to your table very quickly by polite friendly staff overall really impressed with The Barns will definately look to stay here again next year as really convenient for the forest live shows. "
