"One of my favorite hotels - I stayed here last year for 2 nights when I was walking the Camino from Lisbon to Santiago de Compostela. Back again this year to celebrate my Camino Francés completion together with my daughter and her husband. It was also their 2nd anniversary so a nice celebration here. The breakfast and bar were terrific and we enjoyed the spa also. My only comments would be the steam room needs to be hotter and the indoor pool could be warmer! The hotel is immaculate, clean and modern. Would stay again!"

"This is a resort style hotel. The lobby, dining room, bar are spacious, the room and bathroom were also large and spacious. I believe most if not all rooms have a balcony. There is a new and old section to the hotel. The new section has larger more modern rooms but sacrifices the view of Tomar Castle and the Convent of Christ. Parking is available for a fee. The indoor pool is beautiful. Breakfast nice and a cut above most of the other hotels we stayed at in Portugal. The staff was very delightful, and I really enjoyed talking to the young bartender in the evenings. We had a sudden ant infestation in the bathroom by the exterior window, so the staff promptly rectified the problem by relocating us a new room. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful."

"The pension is well located. Our room had a kitchen space; so it was quite roomy by Portuguese standards. The room was also very clean and had air conditioning. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast offered enough selection. Nevertheless, this is a place with rooms on three different floors and no elevator. One has to be willing or able to navigate stairs with luggage."

Rooms more basic than the photos let on - but this isn't too much of an issue. No problems at all HOWEVER few things would be helpful, such as glasses / cups in room etc as unable to drink water in room etc. No restaurant BUT lots of cafes close by"
