The Hotel Haciendo was our perfect oasis from the heat and pace of spending the day exploring Merida. The service was truly impeccable, and having breakfast available every morning was a great and delicious way to start the day. We would absolutely stay here again!
Beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious and the beds were comfortable. The staff are very friendly and courteous. We loved the pool and the calming lounge music. The location was very convenient and easy to walk to everything in the centro.
We were in Merida for eight days and we LOVED this hotel! It was small, well-kept and very clean. The staff was extremely helpful. The location was perfect about 6 blocks north of the Plaza. Down the street from the hotel was the Negrita Cantina; a must-visit place. We'll definitely be staying at Koox Casa de las Palomas again on our next visit!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are great, the public areas are airy and spacious and covered in lush greenery. The restaurant was good too - I especially enjoyed the flank steak.
At the weekend this is a perfect spot - the Mexican Nights musical program takes place right outside the hotel so you have a ringside seat. Then on Sundays you can stroll the Paseo Montejo just up the road - it is closed for traffic on Sunday morning so families are out on their bikes.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are rustic but very comfortably appointed, firm beds and first class linens. The food is great and micheladas are the best. Nice and clean facility overall. A feeling of airiness in the middle of Merida. And absolutely safe.
The NH is a nice hotel at two corners of the Paseo Montejo. We did not try the breakfast/restaurant because there are plenty upscale restaurants available just down the elevator. The staff was very friendly and watching the sunset from the pool on the rooftop is an amazing experience. Highly recommendable!
This hotel is a fantastic bargain, and it keeps enlarging and improving. Nice staff, small dining area, but a terrific cook. It's always clean, and many guests return and return. Good hotel.
I used the accommodation to sleep and shower. I choose this place because it was close to the plaza and the fruit and food market and most places to walk around and shop and eat.
Upon arrival the checkin was seamless and the staff friendly. Hotel is new and the facilities well kept.
There are severas good restaurants within walking distance and the area Is very safe.
The hotel is pet friendly which is a plus for pet owners.

My husband and I stayed for a week while visiting family in Merida. On our last trip we had stopped in the Hotel Carib late in the afternoon for a cool Cuba Libre and enjoyed the atmosphere: black and white polished tiled floors, arches all around, courtyard with a fountain and flowers, and guitar players tuning up for the evening! Very romantic. This trip the hotel was part of an airline/hotel bundle. The hotel is a former Catholic College (17th century) and includes a mix of religious images....
