Hotel was gorgeous and very clean. We reserved ocean front balcony and it was worth it to have a view of the ocean. The pool was amazing with lots of chairs and umbrellas. The beach was also nice (bring water shoes as the beach is rocky) with lots of chairs and umbrellas. This hotel is a bit out of the way from all the downtown things (which we liked for the quiet aspect) so food options were more limited, but the food the hotel offered and few restaurants on property were very yummy.
We had no idea where to check in. The address of the property from Expedia gave to indication that it was an apartment managed by The Sheraton Hotel so we had difficulty finding it - finally had to park and call property number.

We loved this hotel. Only thing to point out is that although this is a maistra select hotel, the Sheraton handles the check in. Apparently this is mentioned somewhere on Hotels.com but we missed it. Led to a bit of confusion. That being said the room and service were fantastic.
Given the chance we'd prefer to be in Mlini. Srebreno is a little too busy and the restaurants aren't any good. Mlini is a 10 minute walk so we spent a lot of time in that area.
It was a great location where steps away from the gorgeous beach, wonderful and helpful host, clean environment and specious!
Visiting Old town by bus or ferry that operates regularly, the host of Kanjuo explained well, he was super supportive.
Don't forget, a bakery around the corner always provides great breads.

I am really happy I decided to stay at this hotel! I went during off season with a friend. Our room was really clean and modern with an incredible view. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is not in Dubrovnik, but it was close enough that we were able to get into the city by car or water taxi. There is a small beach in front of the hotel, but take the water taxi into the city or to one of the other islands for the best beaches.
The villas and the new hotel are just lovely. Perfect setting with excellent dining options too.

Hotel Vallum is a stunning property!! The staff were outstanding and so kind. The amenities are excellent and the seafront view is spectacular!! Can’t say enough good things about our experience.
The hotel is a bit out of the way but a welcome rest when you arrive. The pools are nice, there’s a great view, the rooms spacious and the hostess very helpful.
We love our stay. Paula was super helpful. She picked us up at airport nearby, drove us to local restaurant. The apartment is very nice, clean. It had all the amenities we needed. If we need help, Paula is just downstairs, available anytime. We really enjoyed our stay. Our only regret is not staying longer. The apartment is in nice, quite suburb, near airport. A great base for day trips to Montenegro and Bosnia.
We had a wonderful stay -- and the host was so kind to offer airport pick-up and transfer to the ferry port the next morning for very affordable, convenient option.
The pool was lovely, gorgeous views. Was a bit buggy in the evening but we found that to be the case all over Croatia. Just bring your bug spray.

This is one of the best properties we have stayed at anywhere in the world. The setting on the Adriatic is stunning, and the staff and services are all top notch. Just about every room has a view of the water. It's walkable to Dubrovnik but a little far in the heat so they have a convenient shuttle. The food options on premises are abundant and all very good. It's hard to over recommend this place.

Worth every euro, this is a 5 star accommodation. I'm shocked, they have a hairdryer, a hair iron and a hand steam iron for clothes.

No words to describe this property. Right on the Adriatic with the most incredible view I’ve ever seen and near downtown Kavtat! We stayed in the executive suite, which had a huge balcony with lots of sitting options, a separate living room with full dining area and a half bath. We LOVED our room!
Apartments Cava was the most wonderful stay in Dubrovnik! Safe, clean, hospitable, great complimentary snacks and wine. Also Marko was the BEST host! Great transfer service to and from the airport/ferry terminal. Could not recommend this for you next trip more!
