If you are looking for a very quiet location with country views, then this is the place. The expansive grounds and pool area are very well maintained. The staff are excellent and certainly make you feel welcome and they are also very helpful. There are only about 20 rooms. Nice touch is providing two bathrobes. This property was very nice excellent location, good view of the water the room we had which was a suite was excellent. Our only complaint was I’m not sure if this was a training hotel for staff staff, but the staff was not knowledgeable of the area or helpful about finding dining or activities

We went into this stay fairly blind, so we weren’t sure what to expect. Let me tell you, we would absolutely stay here again. This place is perfectly appointed, check in was so easy and amazing, and you have anything you need. Be pleasantly prepared to experience Ritz Carlton style service! We had a great stay at Solar Mendoça, it is a wonderful hotel with equally as wonderful staff. The location is perfect and easy access from the train station (about a 10 min walk on level streets) also it’s very close to old town. We stayed at this lovely apartment for three nights and everything was great. The bed linens were fresh and free of odors, the floor and countertops were clean. Bathroom was spotless and no previous guests' hair was found, extra towels and toilet paper were also available in case we need it. We stayed at ibis as an overnight after a long day of travel, and it was wonderful. The staff was welcoming, even after midnight, and we got drinks from the 24 hour bar to sate our thirst after a long day. The bed was comfortable and the room was convenient. Highly recommend this property for your needs in Faro!

Overall a very nice stay at a fun hotel. Really the only slightly negative thing I can say is the bathrooms are quite small. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

The room was very clean and well equipped. We were upgraded to a suite which was lovely. Staff were more than helpful and did their utmost to ensure a comfortable stay. Can't say enough good things about the entire experience.

The hot tub was not working during our stay. I had to ask the front desk for a blow dryer because the one in the room was very old and didn't blow hot air. The breakfast was ok, basic cereal, bread etc. But you could ask for hot eggs. There were a lot of restaurants within walking distance. The pool area was beautiful. The distance to the water was an easy walk. The staff were all very nice. We had lunch one day by the pool, and the pizza was amazing! Drinks were reasonable and delicious....

It’s a beautiful place quiet and friendly staff. The restaurant in the hotel was great the staff was helpful and always there for you . The pool outside and the views was nice great place to relax. Would go again this time a little longer .
