If you’re planning a trip to Northern Portugal, do not miss this treasure. We felt so lucky to stay at the gorgeous recently renovated former convent. The design is stunning; the food is incredible, even if you only have breakfast or a light poolside lunch. There are many dining options in the town walkable from hotel. We skipped a trip to the beach—the hotel was that beautiful— infinity pool is wonderful. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough,

We loved our stay at Casanova in the superior room. The location is perfect, an easy drive into Braga and also a great launching point for Geres. No worries about parking at Casanova; free, secured and flat parking lot. Owner Anna will tell you exactly where to park in Braga.
