Nice property. Great rooms. Beautiful view, if you get a beach/water view room. We had reserved a non-water view. Asked for upgrade at check in. Got the upgrade but had to pay more money, thought that was a perk with Expedia VIP, but wasn't. Nice bar area with good views and decent food. The upscale restaurant was good, but pricy. No restaurants next to hotels for food options. 15 Min walk or very short drive is the local village was is very tourist oriented and has lots of restaurants.

The building has a lot of charm. Plants, flowers and classic Portuguese interior design. It feels you are in a farmhouse, not in a hotel. The breakfast was great with so many options. The attic room where we stayed was so spacious, with a huge bathroom and a private terrace. I'd point out that they gave us combined twin beds and not a queen/king bad, which wasn't ideal. Highlights for me included: the view from the rooftop, friendly and accommodating staff, health workshops offered throughout the day, cozy rooms, and relaxing spa with familiar and new therapies.
