"We loved our stay at Mystic River. The staff was friendly and very helpful and they helped to make our excursions memorable. The room was large and very clean and the drivers were extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. Make sure to go zip lining, caving and check out the Mayan ruins…unforgettable!"

"The pool was enjoyable, the AC allowed us to sleep at night, we enjoyed the on-site restaurant. We also utilized the resort pay for fee shuttle service from the airport and to the water taxi. All very punctual and professional. "

"Clean room, nice pool, and close to some good restaurants and the San Ignacio marketplace. Easy to hop across the street and get a few snacks or groceries from the grocery store. Staff was flexible and you can pre-order your breakfast the night before on site if you are planning an early tour. Only downside was staying the second food room facing front (hotel guests and nighttime swimmers were a bit loud for someone like me who needed to get to bed early). "

"The property situated in a serene area. Rooms are clean. Our room was facing the river. Amities are all close by. Food was amazing. It was trolling to watch birds coming to the feeder when we ate breakfast next to it.River tubing was fun. The staff was so kind enough to do the camp fire at night just for our group. We had the best guide for our horse back riding. He was very knowledgeable and had the most patience to deal with inexperienced people like us. We had the best time at here! Definitely recommend "

"Villa Massis is a jungle paradise! It is situated amongst giant trees and large flowering tropical plants, right next to the quiet Mopan River. The pool was beautiful to swim in and lounge around. The staff are incredibly friendly: from the owner Larry to all the support staff, they really want guests to have a good time! They are proud of what this part of Belize has to offer. Larry coordinated transport to and from the airport, and set us up with drivers and guides for tubing down the river, swimming by waterfalls, exploring Xunantunich ruins with our knowledgeable guide Luis. Just what we’d hoped for in a jungle get away!"

"I highly recommend this hotel. Is very classy and comfortable. The food at the restaurant is delicious and they have homemade legendary ice cream called rainforest that is worth going there for. They have jackfruit juice and a variety of local dishes that were comparatively priced to local restaurants. The rooms are top notch. We took the iguana tour at the hotel, which was very educational and enlightening. "
