"West stayed three nights in a stone house Cottage. The room has a large comfortable bed, a desk to write at, and a refrigerator. they keep you well stocked with waters, there's coffee in the room (not tea). All in all our experience at this Lodge was excellent but what makes it stand above and beyond most places is the staff who work there. We had positive interactions with several people especially the pool Guy who got involved bird watching with us even bringing me a book of local bird species, the lobby ladies were amazing...friendly and helpful... just all around we have found belazians to be friendly and welcoming and this place sets a perfect example."
"Overall, great stay. For the price, this hotel is very reasonable. Some minor repairs could be done though everything was clean. Front desk was helpful most of the time. Location was good - good restaurants in the area and walking distance to market."
"My wife and I stayed at Cassia Hill in April and very much enjoyed our stay. The grounds were large and well maintained and we got to see birds and enjoy fresh coconut that Marlon prepared for us. The pool was great on the hot days we had and food was very good at the on property restaurant. The location was really close to San Ignacio which was convenient too. The rest of the staff were great as well with Carlos stopping by to check on us and Christie helping us at the front desk. We plan on coming back"
"Absolutely loved this property! It's gorgeous and the staff is amazing! The rooms are spacious and honeymoon vibe. We went during the dry season which is the hottest so be prepared for the humidity and lots of stairs. If you are a light sleeper I recommend you being earplugs because the wild life dont care if youre sleep deprived. Food and drinks were so good and we definitely will be back!"
"The hotel is nice with a beautiful garden, but it’s not a good value for money. Everything is extra, including the room coffee which is $5 USD per day, after paying 900 USD for two nights! Breakfast is à la carte and the size is tiny. They charge service fee for the room mini bar. The restaurant is very expensive and does not serve local food."
"We loved staying at the Villa Massis! They have created a piece of paradise. The room was perfect and comfortable, air conditioning was great, the pool was refreshing after busy days of tours. They served yummy food options and were attentive to details. Their new riverside bar area with a deck and steps down to the river is a fun and gorgeous setting. I would highly recommend staying here. They are about 10 minutes outside of town but close to restaurants and shops. They provide a lot of services on the property. Lucy was really great and helped us out with whatever we needed and Jason also made sure we were attended to and having a good time. You can book tours directly through them as well.
