Gardens and castle are beyond this world. Great experience of stepping back in time with this heritage lodging.

Place was great. Just what we needed and close to town for restaurants. The warm and friendly welcome was wonderful after a long day of travel in the road.

Beautiful area and comfortable place!

We arrived at Aurora on George just as New Zealand was getting ready to go to level four for the coronavirus pandemic. We stayed three nights until we could fly back to the US. Chris the manager was SO helpful during this stressful time. He had to limit service to protect staff, but answered all our needs and made sure we had what we needed. It was a safe haven with its beautiful gardens and comfortable rooms. We were able to fix dinners when restaurants closed so the kitchenette was vital. This...

Breakfast in the room was excellent. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Walking distance to the Botanical gardens.

A wonderfully convenient and tidy property perfect for attending a conference at Otago Uni. The kitchen was particularly good and a bonus to have a washing machine, although I didn't need the latter.

We have stayed here before and found it very good .We had a studio unit but the design of the unit makes the sleeping area seperate from the living ares .Restaurants , shops etc a couple of minutes walk away .Very good parking .

Spacious rooms, had a separate queen bedroom, plus 2 twins in the living room area, kitchen with fridge and microwave and cooktop with any needed amenities. Had a heater for cool nights, separate laundry facilities that were just down the steps. Place could use some updating, but for our stay it was the right price and just fine for us

Spacious suite, comfortable bed. A gem in central Dunedin. Easy walk to the Octagon and restaurants.

Good value for money. Quiet location and very close to Otago University campus. Walking distance (about 20 minutes) to the Octagon area. Plenty of space and adequate storage. Bed was comfortable. Nice to have the stove to prepare some warm food. Kitchen had all the essentials. Chilly winter weather outside but two heaters kept it adequately warm inside. A few electrical outlets did not work. Wonderful apartment - unbelievably thoughtful design, beautifully furnished. Very spacious and great location - easily walkable to restaurants, shopping, sites. Would absolutely stay again.
