"Beautiful hotel in Stunning surroundings. Lots to do in the spa area, lovely food in the mezzanine bar area and staff very helpful and attentive. Rooms are roomy and immaculate. Ideal location for a peaceful getaway."

"A surprisingly beautiful location considering it is right next to the N3, however I hardly noticed the traffic and so enjoyed the other side of the hotel which runs right down to the lakeside (as the name suggests) where you can sit out and sample the hotel's fine food and/or beer. An easy bike ride away is Lough Crew which is well worth a visit for the full 360* panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and the megalithic pathway tombs on top of the hill. Hotel staff were all helpful and the breakfast was plentiful and varied."

"All good except for the food. Evening meal was a big disappointment, the Thai curry was not nice at all (and not Thai). Breakfast was not edible, even the pastries were a super sweet disappointment."
