Nice and very new hotel. The rooms are on the smaller side but they’re set up in a smart way plus having a small balcony is a great thing to have.

Very clean, modern hotel. Nice friendly staff that are always helpful. Excellent breakfast is served in the AM. The quirky part is that the bathroom is very much apart of the room...just small glass dividers. It is not a good situation if there are two people unless you are REALLY together. The hotel does not have AC. Also ask for a room on the upper floors otherwise you are very exposed to the street. Have stayed a couple of times; will stay again.

The lake view was special!

Very clean and staff helpful. After my first night I was not able to adjust the air conditioning and my son had the same problem.

The Erbprinz has very comfortable rooms and a very nice restaurant. The downside was that they have a smoking lounge at the front of the hotel and in the winter the smoke from there is blown all the way to the back of the hotel and up the tower. So at night my room on the fifth floor of the tower started to smell like smoke and I had to open the windows to deal with the smell. The front desk said that they have other rooms in a different section of the hotel that didn't have this problem.

the lady at the reception, she was very kind, warm heart and easy going. I got off the night train, which was taken 15 hours because of delay, early morning in the Karlsruhe with heavy rain. so it was too early to check in, but this hotel just let me in right away. so i could alive at the clean room and bathroom after the hot shower and good sleep. and Also I had to take the night train again after the check out, this hotel let me late check out it was just from kindness. my stay in Karlsruhe...

Wonderful hosts, would highly recommend

Our host was not able to accommodate all of our small group, so my husband and I took their suggestion of ibis Styles downtown. It was a 7-minute walk from the hotel to our host's house. And convenient to the 'village' of shops near by. The hotel was modest and clean, the room was efficiently laid out, the breakfast buffet had something for everyone. I now know that ibis has locations in other parts of Germany and I would not hesitate to stay at an ibis hotel in the future.
