"The staff were friendly and super helpful and the room was spacious with a comfortable bed. The shower was over a sunken bath which was rather awkward (suggest conversion to a standard shower base). Overall, would recommend as a place to stay."

I love this hotel. My parents had their wedding reception there in 1943. The tea in Alice's was perfection, and my room was out of a Beatrix Potter storybook. Registration staff was so welcoming with big smiles. The hotel is beautifully decorated and sports the cutest little elevator. It is spotless, everywhere. I love this place!
