"It’s always been fantastic , everyone I’ve stopped with my boy we’ve loved it , the property was clean , tidy , the staff was amazing we have a good bond with one off the staff my boy loves him xx, he’s so friendly with us and anything we have needed or need he’s got us , fantastic time would recommend the stay , we’ll be back , always got the big welcome , won’t mention the guy on here but truly amazing staff 5x s go too him"

"Very friendly staff from the moment we arrived. The hotel reminded me of pubs and hotels from my child hood. Nothing fancy but still worth the stay. The bar downstairs had a good vibe to it. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower was also clean. A few toiletries like shampoo body wash and bars of soap are put in the bathroom. Tea coffee and milk was there ready for a cup of tea in the morning. The view was lovely if you like people watching. 2 minutes away is a patisserie which did the best breakfast Iv had in a long time. It’s about a 25 minute journey to Mablethorpe beach. I will be going back there as I loved the atmosphere it had. 10/10"

"The building is an architectural delight and the gardens are very well maintained The staff cannot be faulted - from the wonderful reception staff, the restaurant and bar staff and the cleaning crew - all utterly professional, take pride in their job and oh yes it shows - what an impeccable stay."

"This old hotel showed it's age and was desperately in need of a face lift. The decor in public spaces left much to be desired and the carpets in the corridors were filthy. However our room (a superior double) was clean and comfortable and well looked after each of the 3 days we were there. The staff and the food, were a different matter altogether. We had dinner for the 3 nights, being joined by family on nights 2 and 3. The food quality was very good and enjoyed by all. The staff were exceptional. Polite, friendly and accommodating. A particular mention to two of our servers Neve and Ilona who went the extra mile to ensure that we and our family had the best experience. Would I go back again? maybe, as the positives outweighed the negatives. A lick if paint and a good clean up, and yes, I would."
