This hotel was a short ride from Cinque Terre and was our home base for a week in Sept. We fell in love with Sestri Levante along the way and the hotel was central and convenient to everything this amazing town had to offer. Wonderful staff and beautiful historic hotel. Beach across the street. A gem.
I really enjoyed the stay at Hotel Miramare! Excellent and helpful staff. Very pretty and spacious lobby areas. Because we were three people they moved us for no extra charge to a huge apartment on the fourth floor that could easily sleep five! It was very nice -- I just wished that it was decorated like the other rooms, it was plain compared to them. But all in all, we loved it there and you will not be disappointed! We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The host was so incredibly hospitable, generous, and kind. He gave some fantastic recommendations for local sites that we otherwise may have never seen. The room was clean, cozy, and had plenty of amenities. Breakfast was delicious, and the view was even better. He even went the extra mile to pack us a lunch with our breakfast leftovers to take with us on the road. I can’t recommend this B&B enough!
These suites are very nice and luxury. Check in is a block away at Miramare hotel. We walked here from train station. Breakfast was very upscale and delicious with a beautiful view of the ocean through the picture window. We loved the easy train access to Cinque Terre (without the crowds) and Portofino, Santa Margarita.
The location was perfect. Not in a crowded city but in a charming smaller town. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the train station and easy flat road to walk with luggage. Staff was kind, room was clean and quiet, food at dinner was excellent. A two minute walk to fabulous restaurants and directly across the street from the beach. It was an older property with old world charm. We highly recommend!!
Good hotel with nice secluded pool and sitting area (though we did not use). Roadside setting requires transport to nearby seaside town. Connected restaurant was average quality. Good breakfast and nice, accommodating staff. Had to leave a day early and was only asked to cover the hotel's Expedia markup.
Hotel molto carino e ben curato nei dettagli. I proprietari sono gentili, accoglienti e pronti a venire incontro ad ogni esigenza. Ottima colazione servita nel grazioso giardino interno. L'hotel è leggermente fuori dal centro, ma è tutto raggiungibile facilmente a piedi. Ci torneremo molto volentieri.
A nice little place in a great location! Very easy walk to the beach, trains, and into town. Room is nice enough, only had a few complaints but they wouldn’t stop me from staying again are:
-there was no actual mini fridge, just a wine fridge and nowhere to plug it in.
-construction woke us up at 7:30 one day and cleaning woke us up at 8 another day. Cleaning would also unplug the wifi to vacuum.
-first place we’ve been that you have to give the front desk your key when you leave each...
