I booked this hotel based on ratings on Expedia and Tripadvisor. When I arrived, I was greeted with drinks and a tour of the hotel, as well as a detail introduction of attractions and activities in Prague. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on a hill that looks down on the picturesque view of old town Prague. From the hotel, most attractions are within 20-30 min walking distance. Food is excellent in the hotel and worth the price, although you have many choices...

I was in Prague for work for my first week and stayed elsewhere, but my plans for the second week changed and I found Hotel Petr through this site and got a great deal. Very nice, charming hotel on a very convenient and quiet street. The staff was very helpful and kind. Breakfast in the mornings was nice - nothing special, but good food and plenty of it. This is a great location, in the center, close to many of the sights and very convenient to the Tram. I loved staying here and I'll return!

Service was phenomenal. From Jana at the front desk to the wait staff at the restaurant, it was consistently great. The room was spotless and has eco-friendly amenities. Food at the restaurant was good; I thought breakfast was pretty good too. Worked for me at any rate. Location is good. It is a climb uphill to get back from the old quarter but I didn’t find it to be that bad. I would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

This was a nice hotel with decent size rooms. Staff were nice and friendly. They daily breakfast buffet was also nice. The only thing I didn NOT like about this hotel was the fact that there is a casino attached to the main entrance of the hotel. The smell of cigarettes is pretty obvious and annoying. It even smells like cigarettes inside the hotel's elevator that is on the same side as the casino.
